Lehsun ki chutney - Garlic chutney

Lehsun ki chutney or garlic chutney is an important part of Rajasthani cuisine. As I belong to Rajasthan, I thought I must share this recipe with you. This chutney can be served with almost any dish. It is very simple to make and tastes heavenly.

Lehsun ki chutney is a spicy chutney prepared by mainly using garlic and red chilies. A dash of garlic chutney makes every dish more tasty and enjoyable. Try out this delicious chutney today and you will surely love it! By the way, don't worry about the smell of garlic on your hands, I've got you covered for that.

Lehsun ki chutney - Garlic chutney

Lehsun ki chutney Recipe:

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time:10 minutes
Serving: 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 5 dried red chili (de-seeded)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 15-20 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • Salt as per taste

Method:

1. Soak the dried chilies in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain off the water and keep aside.
2. In a blender, add the red chilies, garlic, ginger, and salt. Turn into a fine paste. (Do not add water while grinding)


3. In a pan, heat the oil and add the blended mixture to it.
4. Cook until the oil separates from the pan.
6. Remove the mix into a serving bowl and your lehsun ki chutney is ready to be served.

Notes:
  • 1. Use Kashmiri red chili as it gives a good colour.
  • 2. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • 3. It will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks.
